I'm an honest guy. I've tried a lot of good and some great pickups. This is a phenomenal bridge pickup for hard-rock and melodic rock. It has a classic sound while providing enough compression and fatness for modern rock. It pairs beautifully with a 36th anni PAF in the neck and I imagine other lower output humbuckers and single coils would pair well also. It has a similar voicing to a Tone Zone but with a slightly glassier and classic PAF feel and vibe. For reference, my guitar has a basswood body and a maple neck. I play a Laney VH100R amplifier.
